This past Sunday May 26th, the BMCAA enjoyed a sunny spring morning of plein-air sketching at Allen Gardens. It was a pleasure to see several students and alumni come out for the lovely weather.

They found a range of gorgeous plants in bloom, including some surprise succulents. After chatting and sketching in the conservatory, the group headed outside to enjoy a small and intimate picnic. While sharing cookies, chips and sandwiches, they were joined by an energetic puppy.

After lots of cuddles, the puppy and the group parted ways. Thanks to everyone (particularly the surprise puppy!) for coming out and joining in on the sketching fun.
